Manual cleaning steps
Apply a special anilox roller cleaning liquid (or gravure roller cleaning liquid) to the surface of the anilox roller
Wait for a moment to allow the cleaning agent to soften and dissolve the dried ink
Use a brass wire brush to scrub the entire roller surface evenly in a circular or spiral pattern
Rinse thoroughly with clean water
Blow the surface dry with compressed air
Wire Brush
Ceramic anilox rollers must be cleaned using stainless steel wire brushes, determined by the extremely high hardness of ceramics. The hardness difference between the two is significant - using a softer copper wire brush not only fails to clean effectively, but can also cause the copper wire to break and become embedded and blocked in the mesh, resulting in the immediate scrapping of the roller
