Working Principle and Core Advantages
Both rollers are made of hard steel, rather than soft materials such as rubber or wool. During operation, the upper roller with convex patterns precisely presses against the lower roller with concave patterns, causing the material to undergo plastic deformation as it passes through, thus forming the pattern
Compared to other embossing methods, its advantages are particularly prominent:
*The pattern is clear and has a strong three-dimensional effect: the "hard-on-hard" contact between the two steel rollers can generate a significant linear pressure, which can reach up to hundreds of kilograms per square centimeter, forcing the material to fully conform to the mold. Therefore, it can imprint a 3D pattern with sharp lines, rich layers, and distinct tactile feel.
*Steel rollers exhibit excellent wear resistance, maintaining consistent embossing effects even under high linear speeds (up to 800 meters per minute) and prolonged continuous production. Under normal use, it is common for them to maintain embossing performance for over 5 years.
